Google Business Profile suspended? Here's the recovery process
Most suspensions come from keyword-stuffed business names, a virtual office address, a sudden change to your address or category, or a mismatch between your profile and your website. Fix the underlying breach first, gather proof that the business is real and trading at that address, then submit a reinstatement request describing exactly what you corrected.

The common causes
- A business name padded with services or towns rather than your actual trading name.
- A virtual office, mailbox or coworking desk used as a physical address.
- Editing address, name and category all at once.
- A website that doesn't back up the address, phone number or services on the profile.
How to get back
- Correct the breach before you appeal — appealing an unchanged profile just burns an attempt.
- Collect evidence: utility bill, business insurance, signage photos, Companies House record, bank statement header.
- Submit the reinstatement form with a short, factual explanation of what was wrong and what you changed.
- Make sure your website shows the same name, address and phone number, ideally in structured data.
