Nurseries in Huddersfield: parents choose you before they visit
Parents shortlist nurseries online and only visit two or three. The site that gets visited is the one that publishes fees, funded-hours detail, staff qualifications, the daily routine and current availability. Most nursery websites publish none of it.

What parents are actually looking for
- Do you have a space for my child's age group, and when?
- What does it cost per session, and what do funded hours actually cover?
- Who looks after them, and what are their qualifications?
- What does a normal day look like — food, naps, outdoor time?
- What did your last Ofsted inspection say?
Every one of those is answerable on a page. Making a parent ring to find out fees is the fastest way to be dropped from the shortlist.
Availability is the killer feature
A simple 'current availability' block, updated by you weekly, does more for enquiries than a redesign. Parents are usually looking for a specific start month, and finding out you have space in that month is the whole decision.
Local search matters more than you'd think
Childcare is chosen by geography — near home, near work, near the school run. Pages naming the areas you draw from (Birkby, Lindley, Almondbury, Salendine Nook) plus a well-kept Google Business Profile put you in the map result parents actually use.
Photography and consent
You don't need photographs of children. Rooms, garden, resources and staff portraits do the job, avoid the safeguarding headache, and load faster.
