Social media reaches people who weren't looking. Search reaches people who already decided. Both matter, but the second one converts at a completely different rate — and it's the one most clinics have no infrastructure for.
A page per treatment
Bundling everything onto one 'Treatments' page means competing weakly for every term at once. Each treatment deserves its own page answering the same four questions: what it is, what it costs, what the appointment is like, and how long the results last.
- Price or price range. Withholding it does not increase enquiries; it filters out the serious ones.
- Genuine before-and-after images with consent, compressed to load fast.
- Practitioner credentials and registrations. This is a trust purchase.
- Aftercare and recovery detail — the question people are actually googling at 11pm.
Be careful with review markup
Self-hosted testimonials should not be marked up as review structured data — Google treats self-serving review markup as a violation. Link to your real Google Business Profile reviews instead. It's more credible anyway.
NHS versus private confusion
If you're a mixed practice, say clearly which services are private and whether you're taking NHS patients. It's the single most common reason a Huddersfield dental enquiry wastes both sides' time.
